Faculty members and students of the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, attended the One day, “International Symposium on Psychiatry” at Nishat Emporium, Lahore. This Mental Health Summit was organized by Pakistan Psychiatric Research Centre in Collaboration with WPA Section on Psychiatry in Developing Countries. The Symposium comprised of several parallel Scientific Sessions. At the symposium, several renowned national and international experts in the fields of psychiatry and mental health have discussed recent developments in this domain. The Director Institute of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, praised the efforts of Prof. Dr Nasir Sayeed and rest of the organizers in connecting the Psychologists' and Psychiatrists' Communities and gathering them together on one platform. It was a great learning experience for the students of Institute of Applied psychology. IAP continues to provide academic excellence to its students.
