A workshop on ‘Unravelling Delusions: A CBT approach for managing all types of Delusions’ was conducted by Ms Nazish Habib (Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Punjab Institute of Mental Health) on 1st November 2024. This was conducted as part of the 7th International Conference ‘Mental Health and Rehabilitation; Contemporary Trends and Advances in Clinical Practice’ to be held on 19-21st November 2024. The conceptual framework of different delusions, their assessment and therapeutic techniques were explained during the workshop. Furthermore, case vignettes were presented and hands-on training on addressing delusional thinking was provided. The trainee clinical psychologists and professionals participated in the workshop. The participants learnt effective strategies to manage delusional thinking, which will help enhance their clinical acumen. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Saima Dawood, Director Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She acknowledged the clinical insights shared during this discourse.
