59th Board of Governors Meeting Held at CEMB, University of the Punjab The 59th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, was held on Friday, December 6, 2024. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Naeem Rashid (Former DG, School of Biological Sciences, University of the Punjab/ member BoG), Dr. Raja Razi ul Hussnain (Secretary, Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad/ member BoG), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali (Director ORIC, Quaid-e-Azam University/ member BoG), Ms. Noshaba Awais (Director of Research and Innovation, Higher Education Commission/ member BoG), Mr. Muhammad Zubair Khan (Representative, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training/ member BoG), and Prof. Moazur Rahman (Director, CEMB/ secretary BoG). Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman provided a comprehensive overview of the annual budget of CEMB, along with the administrative and research initiatives undertaken at the Centre.
